Comprehensive Assessment
A comprehensive face-to-face interview, lasting approximately 45-75 minutes, where your current symptoms/issues, history, goals, functioning, mental status and diagnosis will be established to get a total understanding of where you've been, where you are, and where you'd like to go. Mostly covered by insurance plans if we are “in-network.”

Individual Therapy
Usually, after a treatment plan is established, these sessions are approximately 45 minutes in length. Individual therapy—also known as psychotherapy, talk therapy, or counseling—is a collaborative process between therapist and client that aims to facilitate change and improve quality of life. Therapy can help people confront barriers that interfere with emotional and mental well-being, and it can also increase positive feelings such as compassion, self-esteem, love, courage, and peace, etc.

Family Therapy
Family therapy, which is often mistakenly interchanged as couples/marital counseling, is designed to assist/support the "identified" patient as they work through targeted issues they are addressing in therapy. If family therapy is a covered benefit for your plan, only one person can identified as the patient and he or she must be diagnosed with a mental health or chemical dependency diagnosis. The mental illness/dependency issues must be the focus of the therapy.
